About Rally Loop
Rally Loop is a small, fast circuit racer seen from directly above. Four cars line up behind a chequered line, a countdown runs from three, and then it is three laps of a closed track with red and white kerbs, trees on both sides and a pair of blue boost pads somewhere along the way.
The controls are as simple as a racing game gets. The car drives forward on its own and you only steer left and right, with a brake for the corners that need it. What makes it a race is the handling. The car carries momentum, so turning in too late sends it wide, the tyres leave black marks as the back slides, and putting wheels on the grass costs most of your speed until you are back on the tarmac. Clean lines beat frantic steering.
The three rivals drive at different levels. One is slow and steady, one is quick, and the third is close to your own pace and gets faster with every stage. Boost pads fire any car that crosses them forward for a second, so the racing line usually runs over them. A minimap in the corner shows the whole circuit and where everyone is.
Finish first or second and the next stage unlocks, with a new track drawn in a different shape and a new setting: meadow, desert, snow and dusk. Finish lower and you race the same circuit again. Your stage, wins and best lap are saved in the browser.

How to play Rally Loop
Wait for the countdown, then steer the red car around the circuit. It accelerates automatically. Brake before sharp corners so you do not run onto the grass, which slows the car heavily. Drive over the blue arrow pads for a burst of speed. Complete three laps; finishing first or second unlocks the next stage and a new track.
Controls
Desktop: Left and Right arrows or A and D to steer, Down arrow, S or Space to brake, P to pause, M to mute. Touch: hold the left half of the screen to steer left and the right half to steer right.
Tips & tricks
- Turn in early. The car slides a little, so start steering before the corner, not in it.
- A short tap of the brake before a hairpin is faster than sliding onto the grass and crawling back.
- Check the minimap for the next bend when the track ahead is off screen.
- Line up for the boost pads on the way in; steering across one at an angle sends you wide on the way out.

How do I unlock the next track in Rally Loop?
Finish a race in first or second place. The next stage then opens with a new circuit. If you finish third or fourth you race the same circuit again.
Is there an accelerator button?
No. The car accelerates on its own. You steer, and you can brake with the Down arrow, S or Space on a keyboard. On a touch screen you steer by holding the left or right side.
Why did my car suddenly slow down?
You left the track. Grass cuts your top speed to less than half until all of the car is back on the tarmac, and an Off Track warning flashes while it happens.
