About Neon Hockey
Neon Hockey is air hockey stripped down to its purest thrill: a glowing puck, two mallets, and a table that hums like an arcade at midnight. You drag your mallet across your half and hammer the puck toward your rival's goal, first to seven. Simple to grasp, surprisingly hard to master, because the puck never stops moving and neither can you.
The good stuff lives in the angles. Bank a shot off the side wall and it slips past a mallet that was guarding the wrong lane. Clip the puck off-centre and it curls with spin, dragging the AI a half-step out of position. The constant tug between attacking and hanging back to defend your net is the whole game, and it gets tense fast when the score is tied at six.
Play solo against an AI that reads your angles, or grab a friend and split the table, one of you on WASD or drag, the other on the arrow keys. It suits quick coffee-break rematches and couch rivalries alike. Anyone who liked Pong, only faster and glowing.
