About Light Cycles
Light Cycles is that beautiful, brutal idea from every arcade daydream: two bikes, one glowing grid, and walls made of your own past. Every second you leave a solid trail behind you, and one touch of any wall or trail ends your round. So the whole game is a race to fence the other rider in while leaving yourself an escape.
The magic is in the tight turns. You'll hug your opponent's line to steal their space, then peel away at the last cell before you clip it. Spiral inward to bait them into a shrinking pocket, or hang back and let them run out of room first. The grid-locked steering means no cheap reverses into your own neck, so mistakes are honest and comebacks feel earned. Speed creeps up as the round drags on, turning a calm duel into a knuckle-white sprint.
Solo, you face an AI that reads open space and refuses to trap itself. Together, it's WASD versus the arrow keys, or two thumbs on the on-screen pads.
