About Kabaddi Clash

Kabaddi Clash is the full raid-and-tackle sport played on one screen in about three minutes. When you raid, you sprint across the mid line into the other team's half with a breath meter ticking down to the kabaddi chant. Cross the baulk line to make the raid count, tag as many defenders as you dare, and get back over the line before the breath ends. Every tagged defender is a point and leaves the mat. Get grabbed and you mash to struggle free while their teammates pile on; get pinned or run out of breath and the point goes to them.

Then the sides swap. On defence you control the nearest defender, close the gap, and hold the grab to start a chain tackle. Hold the raider for two seconds and it is a tackle point; do it with three or fewer defenders left and it is a super tackle worth two. Players out of the game revive one at a time as their team scores, and emptying the whole opposing side is an all-out for two extra points. A dash with a cooldown and a quick feint give the raider tools against a tight line, and the bonus line rewards a brave deep run when six or more defenders are on the mat.

Play against the computer on three difficulties or share a keyboard with a friend, alternating raids. The match runs two ninety-second halves with a scoreboard, crowd, commentary cards and slow-motion grabs. It is the kabaddi game browser players have never really had.

How to play Kabaddi Clash

Raids alternate between the teams. As the raider, move into the other half, cross the dashed baulk line, touch defenders and return across the mid line before the breath bar empties; dash with Shift for a burst and flick direction to feint. If you are grabbed, tap the action key fast to struggle toward the line. As a defender, move the highlighted player toward the raider and hold the action key when close to grab; keep hold for two seconds to win the tackle. Each tag, tackle, bonus-line crossing and all-out scores points over two halves.

Controls

Desktop: WASD or arrow keys to move, Space to grab or struggle, Shift to dash, P to pause, M to mute. Two-player mode uses WASD for one side and the arrow keys for the other. Touch: joystick on the left and a big ACTION button on the right.

Tips & tricks

  • Cross the baulk line first, then look for tags: an empty-handed raid still counts if you touched a defender.
  • Tag the corner defenders. Cover defenders in the middle chain-tackle faster than the corners can.
  • Turn back with a quarter of your breath left. The struggle to the line always takes longer than it looks.
  • On defence, do not lunge first. Let the raider commit, then grab from the side he is not looking at.

Frequently asked questions

What are the rules in Kabaddi Clash?

A raider must cross the baulk line, touch defenders and return over the mid line before the breath bar runs out. Each defender tagged scores a point; a raider tackled for two seconds gives the defence a point, or two for a super tackle with three or fewer defenders. Emptying a side is an all-out worth two.

Can I play Kabaddi Clash with a friend?

Yes. Choose 2 Players and share one keyboard: one side uses WASD and the other the arrow keys, with raids alternating between you. Against the computer you can pick easy, normal or hard.

How long is a match and is anything saved?

Two halves of ninety seconds each. Your win and loss tally against the computer and your difficulty choice are saved in your browser.

Does Kabaddi Clash save my progress?

Partly. Kabaddi Clash keeps a running win/loss tally and your settings in this browser's local storage; there is no level progress to save. Nothing is uploaded and no account is involved — clearing your browser data is what resets it.
