Race a wooden sled down an endless Himalayan slope. Weave between pines, boulders, snowmen and wandering yaks, launch off the blue ramps, fly through prayer-flag gates for a burst of speed, and see how far you get before the mountain wins.
About Himalaya Sled
Himalaya Sled is a downhill dodge game seen from just behind a kid in a red woolly hat. The slope never ends and it never slows down. You steer left and right, and everything else comes at you: pine trees with snow on their tips, grey boulders, snowmen somebody built in exactly the wrong place, and the occasional yak standing sideways across your line. Hitting any of them ends the run in a cloud of powder, and so does drifting into the forest on either edge.
The mountain gives a few things back. Blue ramps throw the sled into the air, high enough to clear rocks, snowmen and even yaks, though never the trees. Lines of coins trace safe routes through the clutter. Strings of prayer flags across the slope give a couple of seconds of extra speed with wind lines streaking past, which is thrilling right up until the next row of pines arrives sooner than you expected. Shaving past an obstacle earns a close-call bonus for the brave.
Speed builds with distance, the gaps tighten, and the score is metres plus coins. Runs last a minute or two at most, and the restart is instant. It plays with two keys on a desktop and with one thumb on either side of a phone.

How to play Himalaya Sled
Steer the sled left and right to avoid trees, rocks, snowmen and yaks, and stay away from the forest at both edges of the slope. Ride over a blue ramp to jump; in the air you clear everything except trees. Collect coins for points and pass under prayer flags for a speed boost. The sled speeds up the farther you go, and one crash ends the run.
Controls
Desktop: Left and Right arrows or A and D to steer, P to pause, M to mute. Touch: hold the left or right half of the screen to steer that way.
Tips & tricks
- Look up the slope, not at the sled. The row you need to plan for is the one that has just appeared.
- Small steering taps hold a line; a long hold carries you across the whole slope and into the trees.
- Coins usually mark a gap, so following a coin line is often the safest route through a row.
- Take ramps when the next row looks crowded: a jump clears rocks, snowmen and yaks.
Frequently asked questions
What can I jump over in Himalaya Sled?
After a blue ramp you are in the air for a moment and clear rocks, snowmen and yaks. Trees are too tall to jump, and the forest at the edges of the slope always ends the run.
How is the score worked out?
One point per metre travelled plus ten for each coin, with a small bonus for every close call. Your best score and total coins are saved in your browser.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Hold the left side of the screen to steer left and the right side to steer right. The game fills a portrait screen without scrolling.
Does Himalaya Sled save my progress?
Yes — Himalaya Sled keeps your best score and settings in this browser's local storage, so they are still there when you come back on the same device. Nothing is uploaded and no account is involved — clearing your browser data is what resets it.
