Quick answer

Fill the twilight grid with suns and moons: never three alike in a row, every line perfectly balanced, no two lines the same. Sixty logic puzzles from a gentle 6×6 to a serious 12×12.

About Zero One

Zero One is a binary logic puzzle — the classic Takuzu, dressed in dusk. Every cell of the grid wants either a glowing sun or a pale crescent moon, and three rules decide which: no three identical symbols may touch in a row or column, every row and column must hold exactly as many suns as moons, and no two rows (or columns) can end up identical. Tap a cell to cycle it through sun, moon, and back to empty; the locked, darker cells are your starting clues.

The pleasure is in the chain reactions. You spot two moons side by side, so the next cell has to be a sun — and that sun fills a row's quota, which forces four more cells, which suddenly cracks a column you'd been staring at. When you slip, the offending cells glow softly red instead of punishing you, and the hint button doesn't just fill a square: it tells you the one-line reason why that cell was forced.

Sixty handcrafted-feeling boards ramp from breezy 6×6 warmups to dense 12×12 skies, every one verified to have a single logical solution. Good for a five-minute wind-down or a long, quiet session.

How to play Zero One

Tap or click any open cell to cycle it: empty, sun, moon, empty again. Follow three rules — never three of the same symbol consecutively in a row or column, equal suns and moons in every line, and no two identical rows or columns. Darker cells are fixed clues and can't be changed. Fill the whole grid without any red glows to finish the level; solving without hints earns three stars.

Controls

Mouse: click to cycle a cell, right-click cycles backward. Touch: tap a cell. Keyboard: arrows move, Space cycles, 1 sun, 2 moon, 0 clears, U undo, R reset, H hint, M mute.

Who made Zero One?

Is Zero One unblocked at school or work?

Zero One is a plain web page — no plugin, no installer, no app store — so it loads on a Chromebook or a locked-down school or office laptop the same way any other page does. Whether it opens comes down to your network's filter rather than the game itself, and there is nothing to install either way.

How many players is Zero One?

Zero One is a single-player game. You are playing against the game and against your own best score, at whatever pace suits you.

Does Zero One save my progress?

Yes. Zero One keeps your best score and progress in your own browser's local storage, so it is still there when you come back on the same device. Nothing is uploaded and no account is involved — clearing your browser data is what resets it.

How do you get better at Zero One?

Scan for pairs first: two suns together mean the cells on both ends of the pair must be moons. A gap between two matching symbols is always forced — sun, blank, sun means that blank is a moon. The full tips list on this page covers the rest.
