Twenty hand-built stunt tracks of seesaws, bounce pads, breakable plank bridges, moving platforms and flip ramps. Gas, brake, tilt the car in the air, reach the flag, and whatever you do, do not land on your roof.
About Rumble Road
Rumble Road is a physics driving game where the car is only half the problem. Each of the twenty levels is a short hand-built track through meadow, canyon and volcano worlds, and every track has something that wants to flip you: a seesaw that tips as you cross it, a plank bridge that snaps if you linger, a bounce pad that launches you into a gap, a platform that rises and falls over lava, or a ramp that sends you higher than you expected. Land on your wheels and you keep going. Land on your roof and the level restarts, instantly, no menus.
The skill is in the air. The same two keys that drive the car on the ground tilt it once the wheels leave the track, so a jump becomes a little puzzle of nose up, nose down, and how much. Carry speed into a ramp and feather the tilt and you float over three obstacles at once; panic and you cartwheel into the water. Each level has a par time with three stars for beating it, so a cleared track is only the beginning.
Skid marks, dust, engine pitch, slow-motion crashes and a confetti flag make every run feel physical. Levels unlock in order and stars and best times are saved. It is the kind of game where the next attempt is always one tap away, on a phone with two thumbs or a keyboard with two keys.

How to play Rumble Road
Hold gas to drive right and brake to slow down or reverse. In the air the same controls tilt the car: gas lifts the nose, brake drops it, so level the car before you land. Cross seesaws steadily, keep moving over plank bridges before they snap, use bounce pads to clear gaps, and time moving platforms. Reach the flag to clear the level. Beat the par time for three stars. Landing on the roof or falling into the water restarts the level at once.
Controls
Desktop: D, W or Right arrow for gas, A, S or Left arrow for brake, the same keys tilt the car in the air, R to restart, P to pause, M to mute. Touch: hold the right half of the screen for gas and the left half for brake.
Tips & tricks
- Let go of everything just before a landing. A neutral car lands flatter than one you are still steering.
- Approach every ramp flat out. Nearly every gap in the game is sized for a fast car, not a careful one.
- On a seesaw, cross the pivot without braking; the far end only drops once your weight is past the middle.
- A plank bridge counts how long you stand on it, so a bridge taken at speed never breaks.
Frequently asked questions
How do I tilt the car in Rumble Road?
Once the wheels leave the ground, gas tilts the nose up and brake tilts it down. Use short taps to level the car for a landing rather than holding a key.
How do I get three stars on a level?
Reach the flag under the level's par time, shown on the results card. Two stars is within one and a half times par, and any clear is one star. Your best time per level is saved.
Does Rumble Road work on a phone?
Yes. The right half of the screen is the gas and the left half is the brake, in the air they tilt the car, and the game fits a portrait screen without scrolling.
Does Rumble Road save my progress?
Yes — Rumble Road saves your progress and settings in this browser's local storage, so you can pick up where you left off on the same device. Nothing is uploaded and no account is involved — clearing your browser data is what resets it.
