A one-button distance game. Hold to charge and let go to flip a water bottle from one piece of furniture to the next. Land on the white mark in the middle to build a perfect streak. Three bottles on the floor ends the run.
About Bottle Flip
Bottle Flip takes the playground trick of flipping a half-full water bottle so it lands upright, and turns it into a trip across a living room. The bottle starts on a table. Ahead of it is a line of furniture: stools, cabinets, a fridge, stacks of books, each a different width, height and distance away. The aim is to flip the bottle from one to the next for as long as you can.
There is one control. Hold, and the bottle squashes down while a power bar fills above it. Let go, and it springs up, turns one full somersault in the air and comes down. How long you held decides how far it travels, and nothing else. The bottle always leaves at the same height, so a target that is lower gives it longer in the air and it carries further, while a target that is higher cuts the flight short. That is the judgement the game asks for on every flip.
A landing anywhere on the top of the next piece of furniture scores one point. Each top has a white mark at its centre, and landing on it is a perfect. The first perfect adds one bonus point, the second in a row adds two, and so on up to five, so a run of perfects is worth six points a flip against one for an ordinary landing. Miss the mark and the streak starts again. A hard flip that clears one piece of furniture and lands on the one after it is allowed, and earns three extra points for the skip.
Fall short and the bottle hits the side of the furniture and drops. Go too far and it sails over. Either way it lands on the floor and one of your three bottles is gone, and the next one starts from where the last good landing was.
The room goes on for ever. As you progress the gaps get wider and the furniture gets narrower, which makes both the landing and the centre mark smaller. The best score is saved.
Inside Bottle Flip: what we checked
The numbers below come from Bottle Flip's own source code, and the screenshots are from our own test run of the game (20 October 2026).

- You only choose how long to hold. A full charge takes 1.25 seconds, and the longer you hold the faster the bottle travels sideways. The height of every jump is the same, so only the distance changes.
- The bottle makes exactly one full turn in the air on the way to the next surface, so it is always upright when it arrives; the question is only whether it lands on the surface.
- Landing on the next surface scores 1 point. Landing two ahead, skipping one, adds 3 more. Landing close to the middle mark (the central third of the surface) is a PERFECT, which adds a streak bonus of one more point per perfect in a row, up to 5.
- The streak resets to zero when you land off-centre or drop the bottle. You have 3 bottles; each time the bottle hits the floor you lose one, and the game ends when all three are gone.
- The surfaces get harder as your score grows: the gaps between them widen and the landing area shrinks from up to 150 down to a minimum of about 46 wide, and each one sits at a slightly different height.
- Hold Space, the up arrow, W or the mouse or a finger to charge and release to throw. P pauses and M mutes. Your best score is kept in this browser.

How to play Bottle Flip
Hold to charge the flip and release to throw. The longer you hold, the further the bottle goes. Land it on top of the next piece of furniture to score. Landing on the white centre mark is a perfect and builds a streak bonus. If the bottle falls to the floor you lose one of three bottles.
Controls
Desktop: hold Space, the Up arrow or the mouse button to charge, release to flip; P to pause, M to mute. Touch: hold a finger on the screen to charge and lift it to flip.
Tips & tricks
- Look at the height of the next top as well as the gap. A lower target needs less power than its distance suggests.
- Short holds matter most. The nearest targets need only a quick tap of about a fifth of a second.
- Aim for the white mark, not just the furniture. Five perfects in a row are worth more than twenty ordinary landings.
- If two pieces of furniture are close together, skipping one earns three extra points, but it ends a perfect streak unless you hit the centre.
Frequently asked questions
How do I control the distance in Bottle Flip?
By how long you hold before letting go. A power bar above the bottle shows the charge. A full charge takes a little over a second and throws the bottle the maximum distance.
What is a perfect landing?
A landing on the white mark at the centre of the furniture top. Perfect landings in a row add a growing bonus, from one extra point up to five.
How many misses do I get?
Three. Each time the bottle falls to the floor one is used up, and a new bottle starts from the last piece of furniture you landed on.
Does Bottle Flip save my progress?
Yes — Bottle Flip keeps your best score and settings in this browser's local storage, so they are still there when you come back on the same device. Nothing is uploaded and no account is involved — clearing your browser data is what resets it.
