About Velocity Rush
Velocity Rush is a single-file, browser-native arcade racer built for that 'one more run' feeling. Pick your mode — Endless Traffic, Time Attack, Survival, Police Chase or 2× Highway Rush — and tear down a procedural highway. It rolls through cities, deserts, snow and night skylines, all with live weather. Coins are the whole economy here: spend them to buy and upgrade six cars in the garage, then knock out rotating missions, climb the local leaderboard and spin the daily wheel. No wait to load, and your progress saves right in your browser.
Inside Velocity Rush: what we checked
The numbers below come from Velocity Rush's own source code, and the screenshots are from our own test run of the game (20 October 2026).
- There are five modes. Time Attack starts with 30 seconds and adds 14 seconds, plus a 500-point bonus, at a checkpoint every 800 metres. Survival makes the traffic faster and denser the longer you last, and Highway Rush doubles every point you score.
- In Police Chase you start 90 metres ahead of the police. Each crash costs you 18 metres, and you are busted when the gap reaches zero. The police drive at 86% of your car's top speed, never less than 95 km/h, and creep faster as the run goes on.
- Every crash adds 16% damage, throws your speed down to about a third and resets your combo. Damage also trims your top speed slightly, and at 100% the car is totaled, which takes seven crashes.
- Near misses (squeezing past traffic above 120 km/h) are worth 100 points and drifts 150, each multiplied by your combo. The combo rises half a step per trick up to ×8 and fades if you stop. Nitro can be used above 20 km/h, raises top speed by 28% and acceleration by 70%, and empties in a few seconds.
- You start with 350 coins and the free Hatchback (170 km/h). The Formula Car at the top of the shop costs 100,000 coins and tops out at 410 km/h, and each car's five upgrades have five levels.
- Coins, cars, upgrades and your best score are saved in this browser, and the leaderboard is local too, holding your own top 10 runs. The daily reward pays 400 coins plus 100 for each day of your claim streak, up to 1,100.

How to play Velocity Rush
Steer between the four lanes to dodge traffic and scoop up coins as you go. Build up some speed, then tap nitro for a burst of pace and a fatter score multiplier — but keep your eyes on the road, because a single hard crash ends the run. Drift through corners and squeeze past cars for near-misses to stack combos and rack up bonus points.
Controls
WASD or Arrow keys to steer, accelerate and brake. Space for nitro. Esc to pause. On mobile the car auto-accelerates — use the on-screen steer, brake and nitro buttons.

- Save nitro for long straights to keep the multiplier alive.
- Squeeze past traffic for near-miss bonuses, but leave yourself an escape lane.
- Spend early coins on Top Speed and Handling before buying a new car.
