Frontier scenes with differences hidden in the clutter — saloons, canyons and cattle drives, drawn busy enough to work for it.
Western scenes are unusually good territory for this puzzle, and the reason is the clutter. A saloon interior or a main street at noon is full of small props that all belong — barrels, rifles, hats, fence posts, tack — so an object that has quietly changed does not stand out the way it would in a tidy room. The artwork gives the differences somewhere to hide without ever cheating.
The changes are well judged across the range. The easy ones are objects that appear or vanish outright. The medium ones are recolours, which your eye slides straight past because the shape is unchanged. The hard ones are mirrored details and small shifts of position, and those are what keep a round going past the first minute.
The technique that works is unglamorous: stop scanning at random, split both pictures into quadrants, and compare one quadrant properly against its twin before moving on.
