About Word Maker
You get a handful of letters arranged in a circle and a crossword-shaped grid waiting to be filled. Swipe through the letters to form a word; if it fits somewhere in the grid, it locks in. Clear every slot to finish the level. It is the anagram game, and it has one property the others do not: it rewards guessing.
Because there is no penalty for a wrong attempt, the correct strategy is to stop thinking and start flailing. Swipe every three-letter combination you can reach, then every four. You will find words you could not have produced deliberately — your recognition vocabulary is far larger than your recall vocabulary, and this exploits the gap ruthlessly. The satisfying moment is landing a long word by accident and only then realising it was a word.
The grid structure keeps it honest. Unlike open anagram games where any valid word scores, here you are aiming at specific slots, so a brilliant seven-letter find that fits nowhere gets you a small bonus and nothing else. Finishing a level means finding what the setter actually hid.
