Hold to charge, release to leap, and climb thirty-five screens of an old fort tower with no air control and nothing to stop a fall. Shrines save your progress. The summit is real, and so is the drop.
About Tower Leap
Tower Leap is a precision climbing game with one rule that changes everything: once you leave the ground you cannot steer. You walk slowly left and right, hold the jump to charge a meter on your climber, and release to leap in the direction you are facing. A short charge is a hop, a full charge is a huge arc, and whatever you chose, you ride it to the end. Misjudge a ledge and you fall, sometimes one screen, sometimes six, back to wherever you last stood.
The tower is an old Indian fort, climbed screen by screen from the Courtyard through the Pigeon Loft, the Bell Gallery and the Jharokhas, up the Winding Stair into Monsoon Heights, where crosswinds push you mid-flight, and finally to the Summit under the moon. Pigeons scatter when you land near them, bells ring when you brush past, and every screen has a name card. Shrines every few screens light up as you pass and are the only save points, so a bad fall between them is yours to climb back.
A speedrun timer and a fall counter run the whole way, and your best ascent is kept. Every one of the thirty-five screens has been machine-checked to be passable from its entry point, so when you fall it is always the jump, never the tower. It is a calm, stubborn, deeply satisfying game for players who like to earn a view.

How to play Tower Leap
Walk with the left and right keys to face the direction you want to go. Hold the jump key to charge: a meter fills on your climber over about a second. Release to leap; a longer charge jumps higher and farther. You cannot change direction in the air, and you bounce off walls, so plan every jump from where it lands. Climb from screen to screen to the summit. Shrines save your progress when you touch them, and the timer and fall counter record your ascent.
Controls
Desktop: Left and Right to walk and face, hold Space or Up to charge and release to jump, P to pause, M to mute. Touch: hold the left or right half of the screen to charge in that direction and let go to leap.
Tips & tricks
- Stand still before you charge. Walking into a jump does not add distance, but it can change the direction you face.
- A full charge is rarely right. Most ledges want a half or three-quarter charge, so watch the meter.
- Walls are not the enemy: a deliberate bounce off a wall can land you on a ledge you could not reach straight.
- Light every shrine you pass, even if it means a short detour. A fall from the wind section costs minutes.
Frequently asked questions
Why can I not move while I am in the air in Tower Leap?
That is the whole game. Your direction and charge are decided before you leave the ground, so every jump is a commitment. Learn how far each charge carries you and the tower opens up.
Where does Tower Leap save my progress?
At shrines, which appear every few screens and light up when you touch them. Your last shrine, your best summit time and your fall count are kept in your browser.
Is every screen actually possible?
Yes. All thirty-five screens were checked by an automated solver that climbs each one from its entry ledge with the real game physics, so any screen you are stuck on has a route.
Does Tower Leap save my progress?
Yes — Tower Leap saves your progress and settings in this browser's local storage, so you can pick up where you left off on the same device. Nothing is uploaded and no account is involved — clearing your browser data is what resets it.
