A one-screen platformer about a rabbit and too many carrots. Hop between the platforms collecting them while the meadow fills up with spike balls, saw blades, arrows and falling anvils. One touch ends the run.
About Carrot Caper
Carrot Caper fits a whole platform game into a single screen. A white rabbit stands in a meadow with a floor, a few grassy platforms hanging in the air, and one carrot glowing somewhere among them. Reach it and another appears somewhere else. That is the entire goal: collect as many carrots as you can.
The catch is that every carrot makes the meadow a little worse. After the first one, arrows start flying in from the sides at whatever height you are standing, each announced by a flashing warning at the edge. At four carrots a spike ball drops in and bounces around the arena for the rest of the run. At seven, anvils begin to fall, marked by a red column a moment before they land. At nine a saw blade starts patrolling one of the platforms. More spike balls and more saws keep arriving, and the arrows come faster. Nothing ever leaves. By thirty carrots you are threading a route through half a dozen moving hazards to reach each one.
The rabbit is built for it. The jump is high and controllable: hold the button for a full leap, tap it for a short hop. Platforms can be jumped through from below and dropped through from above, so there is always more than one way to anywhere. The screen also wraps, so running off the right edge brings you back on the left, which is often the quickest escape.
A single touch from anything ends the run, and the restart is instant. On a phone the arena sits at the top of the screen with large run and jump buttons under your thumbs. Your best score is saved.

How to play Carrot Caper
Run and jump to the glowing carrot to collect it, then go after the next one. Watch for the warnings: a flashing marker at the edge means an arrow is about to fly across at that height, and a red column means an anvil is about to fall there. Avoid the bouncing spike balls and the saw blades on the platforms. Touching any hazard ends the run.
Controls
Desktop: Left and Right arrows or A and D to run, Up arrow, W or Space to jump (hold for a higher jump), Down arrow or S to drop through a platform, P to pause, M to mute. Touch: on-screen left, right and jump buttons.
Tips & tricks
- Run off one side of the screen and you come back on the other. It is the fastest way across and the best way out of a corner.
- Arrows are aimed at the height you were at when the warning appeared. Change level and they miss.
- A short tap of jump clears an arrow or a saw without sending you up into a spike ball.
- Spike balls bounce in a steady rhythm. Wait for one to pass over a carrot instead of racing it.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get onto the higher platforms in Carrot Caper?
Jump up through them. Platforms are solid only from above, so you can leap straight up through one from underneath and land on top of it.
When do new hazards appear?
Arrows start after the first carrot, the first spike ball arrives at 4 carrots, anvils at 7 and the first saw blade at 9. Further spike balls and saws are added as your score climbs.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The arena is shown at the top of the screen and three large buttons appear below it: left, right and jump.
Does Carrot Caper save my progress?
Yes — Carrot Caper keeps your best score and settings in this browser's local storage, so they are still there when you come back on the same device. Nothing is uploaded and no account is involved — clearing your browser data is what resets it.
