About Pipe Flow
Pipe Flow is the classic "turn the tiles until the water runs" puzzle, tuned to feel crisp and modern. Every tile is a fragment of pipe — a straight, an elbow, a tee — spun a random quarter-turn out of place. Your job is to give each one the twist it needs so a single continuous channel links the green source on the left to the drain on the right.
The joy is in that last click. Tiles already touching the source glow and shimmer with live water as you work, so you can watch your network creep across the board tile by tile. The moment the final connection snaps into place, the flow surges through the whole route in a rippling blue wave, drips spray off, and the level is yours.
Early boards are a gentle three-by-three warm-up; by level twelve you're untangling a seven-by-seven knot of branching tees where one wrong assumption strands half the grid. Your furthest level is saved automatically. Great for a quick clear-your-head minute or a longer, brain-pleasantly-melting sitting.
Inside Pipe Flow: what we checked
The numbers below come from Pipe Flow's own source code, and the screenshots are from our own test run of the game (20 October 2026).
- There are 12 levels. The board starts at 3 × 3 and grows to 7 × 7 by level 11, and level 12 stays at 7 × 7. Clearing level 12 loops you back to level 1.
- Every level is the same each time you play it. The layout is generated from a fixed seed per level, so Reset gives back the identical scramble.
- Every square on the board holds a pipe and every one of them is part of the solution. The route is built as a branching tree that reaches all tiles, so there are no decoy pieces.
- The source is always on the left edge and the drain on the right edge, and both are locked in place. Only the other pipes rotate, a quarter turn per tap, one move each.
- There is no move limit or timer. The moves count is just shown when you finish, and the water floods the route the moment it connects.
- R resets the level, N skips to the next one (even if you have not solved this one), and M mutes. Your furthest level is kept in this browser.

How to play Pipe Flow
Tap or click any pipe tile to rotate it 90 degrees. Connect a continuous pipeline from the glowing source on one edge to the drain on the other. When the route completes, the water flows through and you clear the level. Fewer moves is a cleaner solve.
Controls
Mouse/touch: tap a tile to rotate it. Keyboard: R resets the level, N jumps to the next, M toggles mute.
Tips & tricks
- Start from the source and the drain and build inward — the two fixed endpoints tell you exactly which way the ends of your pipeline must point.
- Watch the glow: any tile lit up with water is already linked to the source, so extend from that live front rather than guessing in blank corners.
- Tee pieces are your junction points; place them where the path needs to branch or wrap, not on simple straightaways.
- If a whole region looks stranded, you probably forced an early tile the wrong way — reset and rebuild from the endpoints instead of fighting it.
