About Gravity Golf
Gravity Golf takes the calm, one-more-shot rhythm of putt-putt and drops it into orbit. Every hole is a little top-down starfield with your ball, a flagged cup, and one to three planets that tug on the ball with real inverse-square gravity. You aim by dragging back from the ball like a slingshot, and a dotted preview line shows exactly how the shot will curve, loop, and slingshot before you commit. Get it right and the ball whips around a planet and drops straight into the hole; get greedy and it flings off into a wall.
The joy is in reading the pull. On The Gate you thread a straight lane between two planets. On Curveball you deliberately aim wide and let one heavy world bend the ball back on target. The Well is a single massive planet you have to orbit patiently, and Grand Orbit rewards a proper gravity assist. Par climbs from two to four as the fields get trickier.
It's for anyone who likes a chill puzzle with a physics twist you can actually feel, whether you're chasing par or hunting hole-in-ones on the couch or the bus.
Inside Gravity Golf: what we checked
The numbers below come from Gravity Golf's own source code, and the screenshots are from our own test run of the game (20 October 2026).
- There are nine holes with pars of 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4 and 4, so par for the whole course is 28. Your total is shown as strokes over or under par.
- Launch speed depends on how far you pull back, from 180 up to 900 pixels a second, and a very small pull cancels the shot instead of costing a stroke.
- Each planet bends the ball's path with a gravity pull. The dotted preview line is simulated with the same physics, so it shows the bend for the shot you are about to take.
- To sink the ball it has to reach the cup moving slower than a set speed. A fast ball is tugged toward the cup but rolls past it, so a gentler shot can beat a harder one.
- Walls bounce the ball but take about a quarter of its speed each time, and it slowly loses speed as it rolls.
- R puts the ball back on the tee, but the shot you already took still counts. N moves to the next hole once you have sunk the ball, and M mutes. Your best total is kept in this browser.

How to play Gravity Golf
Drag back from your ball to aim a slingshot; the further you pull, the more power. A dotted trajectory shows how the planets will curve your shot before you release. Let go to launch, then watch the ball bend around planets, bounce off walls, and drop in when it rolls over the cup slowly enough. Sink all nine holes in as few total strokes as you can.
Controls
Mouse or finger: drag back from the ball to aim and set power, release to shoot. R resets the current shot, N advances to the next hole once you've sunk it, and M mutes. Best total score saves automatically.
Tips & tricks
- The dotted line is honest — trust it. If the preview curls into the cup, so will your ball.
- Heavy planets are slingshots, not walls. Aim past one and let its gravity sweep the ball back toward the flag.
- The ball only drops when it's moving slowly over the cup, so ease off the power on your approach shot.
- Stuck on a tight hole? Use Reset Shot to try a new angle without losing the ball to a wall.
