Roll a train of numbered cubes through a neon arena, eat the smaller ones, merge equal numbers into bigger ones, and crunch rival players whose head is smaller than yours. Boost to escape, but every second of it costs you a cube.
About Cube Crunch
Cube Crunch is an arena game built on one rule everyone already knows: two equal numbers become the next one up. You start as a single small cube and roll around a big grid floor collecting the loose cubes scattered across it. Any cube with a number no bigger than your head joins your train, and whenever two cubes of the same value sit together they merge with a pop, chaining up through 4, 8, 16 and beyond. Your head is always your biggest cube, and your total is your score.
Ten named rivals are doing exactly the same thing. A bigger head can eat any cube in a smaller train, and eating a rival's head takes them out and spills their whole train onto the floor as loot. That makes the arena a constant judgement call: chase the free food in the open, pick off a smaller player, or run from the giant coming your way. Boost gives you a burst of speed, but it sheds your smallest cube every half second, so escaping always costs something.
The round never ends; you play until you are crunched, then compare your total, your best rank and your kills against your previous runs. A minimap and a live leaderboard keep the whole arena readable. It suits short sessions on a phone as much as long ones at a desk.

How to play Cube Crunch
Move toward your mouse pointer or your finger, or steer with WASD. Roll over loose cubes with a number no higher than your head to add them to your train. Two cubes of the same number next to each other merge into the next one up. Players with a bigger head can eat your cubes, and you can eat theirs if yours is bigger, so size up every rival before you charge. Hold Space, hold the mouse button or tap the BOOST button for a burst of speed that drops your smallest cube every half second.
Controls
Desktop: move toward the mouse pointer or use WASD, hold Space or the mouse button to boost, P to pause, M to mute. Touch: drag to steer and hold the BOOST button to sprint.
Tips & tricks
- Pick up the exact value you need to trigger a merge chain. Three 4s in a row become one 8 and then feed the 16.
- A rival's spilled train is the fastest way to grow, so hover near big fights and clean up after them.
- Boost only to escape or to close a kill. Every half second of it costs you a cube from the back.
- Check the leaderboard before you chase: a name near the top is a head you cannot eat.
Frequently asked questions
Which cubes can I pick up in Cube Crunch?
Any loose cube whose number is no higher than your head cube. Equal numbers next to each other in your train merge into the next value up, so collecting the right number sets off chains.
How do I eat another player?
Your head has to be bigger than the cube you touch. Hitting a smaller cube in a rival's train takes that cube, and hitting a smaller head removes the player and drops their whole train on the floor for you.
Does Cube Crunch save anything?
Your best total, your best rank and your mute setting are saved in your browser. The arena itself is a fresh round every time you play.
Does Cube Crunch save my progress?
Yes — Cube Crunch keeps your best score and settings in this browser's local storage, so they are still there when you come back on the same device. Nothing is uploaded and no account is involved — clearing your browser data is what resets it.
