About Survivor Arena
Survivor Arena is an original top-down auto-shooter inspired by the modern "survivor" wave. You never aim manually: your character automatically launches piercing blade-shots at the closest threat, so all you do is move and choose where the chaos happens. Slain enemies scatter teal XP gems that get magnetized toward you and fill a level bar. Every level-up pauses the action and offers three random upgrades from a deep pool, letting each run grow into a wildly different build. Difficulty climbs with a run timer: grunts give way to darting diamonds and armored hexes, and periodic orange "elite" brutes crash in with their own health bars and a satisfying slow-mo death. With impact sparks, hit-flash, knockback, screen shake, floating damage numbers, and fully synthesized sound, every kill feels punchy. It runs in a single self-contained file with no external assets, plays with keyboard or a floating touch joystick, and saves your best survival time and level.
Inside Survivor Arena: what we checked
The numbers below come from Survivor Arena's own source code, and the screenshots are from our own test run of the game (20 October 2026).
- You start with 100 health and fire one shot about every 0.6 seconds (1.6 per second) at the nearest enemy within range. You never aim.
- Enemies arrive faster the longer you last: the spawn rate starts at about 0.85 a second and rises by 0.045 a second for every second survived. At most 160 are alive at once.
- There are three regular enemy types. After 25 seconds fast ones (low health, quick) start to appear and after 50 seconds slow, heavy ones. Their health also grows with time, roughly doubling by the one-minute mark.
- A bigger orange elite arrives at 18 seconds and then roughly every 20 to 30 seconds, with 120 health plus 4.2 for every second you have survived.
- Level-ups pause the game and offer three random upgrades from nine: more damage, fire rate, extra projectiles, piercing, speed, pickup radius, health and regeneration, bullet size, and targeting range. The first level takes 5 XP, and each level needs more than the last.
- After a hit you are protected for about half a second (0.55 s). Your best survival time, level and kill count are kept in this browser.

How to play Survivor Arena
Move your survivor around the arena to dodge the swarm. Your weapon fires on its own at the nearest enemy in range, so positioning is everything. Killed enemies drop teal XP gems that fly toward you when you get close (or when your magnet radius is big enough). Collect XP to fill the bar at the bottom of the screen. Each level-up, the game pauses and shows three upgrade cards: pick one to make yourself stronger. Stack upgrades into a build (more projectiles, piercing, raw damage, faster fire, speed, magnet, regen, area) and kite the ever-growing horde. Watch for orange elites with health bars, they hit hard but drop a shower of gems. You lose when your health bar empties; the run ends with your time survived, kills, and level, plus your all-time best.
Controls
Move: WASD or Arrow keys. Touch: press and drag anywhere to use the floating joystick (drag direction = move direction; release to stop). Aiming and firing are fully automatic. On level-up, click/tap an upgrade card or press 1, 2, or 3 to choose. M key or the top-right button toggles mute. Any key, tap, or the Play button starts a fresh run.
Tips & tricks
- Keep moving in wide circles to herd enemies into a single trailing clump, then let your auto-fire mow the line down.
- Grab Split Shot and Piercing early: more projectiles that punch through crowds scale far better than raw damage against swarms.
- The Magnet upgrade is a force multiplier; a wide pickup radius means you collect XP without ever walking into danger.
- Save space for elites. When the orange brute spawns, lead it away from the pack so its slow-mo death doesn't leave you surrounded.
