Orbit Dodge is a one-button survival arcade game with a single, honest rule: your satellite is always orbiting the planet, and tapping reverses its direction. Everything else — every asteroid drifting across the field, every comet screaming through, every glowing bar sweeping around the core — you handle by choosing exactly when to flip.
The joy is in the reading. A comet is about to cross your path, so you reverse a half-beat early and feel it whoosh past your tail as a near-miss glows white. A rotating bar closes on your lane and you flip back the other way, then flip again to snake between two asteroids while a bonus star hangs on the ring ahead, daring you to hold your line one moment longer. The orbit trail changes color with your direction, so at a glance you always know which way you're going.
Difficulty ramps as your ring count climbs — more hazards, faster sweeps, tighter windows. It's for anyone who likes a tight, twitchy score-chaser they can pick up in one tap and lose an hour to. Your best is saved locally.
Inside Orbit Dodge: what we checked
The numbers below come from Orbit Dodge's own source code, and the screenshots are from our own test run of the game (20 October 2026).
- The score counts rings: you get 1 point for every full second you stay alive. Collecting a star is worth 3, the same as three seconds of survival.
- A star appears roughly 4 times in 10 each time a ring is added, in the satellite's path a little ahead of it, and it disappears after about 5 and a half seconds if you miss it.
- Hazards are chosen at random: half are asteroids, about 28% are fast comets and about 22% are rotating bars that sweep around the planet.
- The satellite never stops circling. Any tap, click, Space, Enter, W or arrow key reverses its direction, and that is the only control.
- It gets harder with time: the satellite speeds up steadily, and the gap between new hazards shrinks from about 1.35 seconds towards a floor of 0.42, which it reaches after roughly 37 seconds.

How to play Orbit Dodge
Your satellite orbits the planet on its own and never stops. Tap, click, or press Space to reverse its direction and steer it around incoming asteroids, comets, and sweeping bars. Tips & tricks
- Reverse a beat early — commit to the flip before the hazard arrives, not the instant it touches you.
- Watch the trail color: it tells you which way you're currently spinning so you flip the right direction.
- Rotating bars sweep predictably. Time a single reverse to slip behind one instead of panicking with rapid taps.
- Only chase a bonus star when the lane between you and it is clear — three points isn't worth a crash.
