关于 Pyramid Solitaire

Pyramid Solitaire looks like the friendliest card game in the world — a neat little triangle of 28 cards, pair anything that adds to 13, done. Then you play it and discover it is one of the meanest patiences ever devised.

The trap is that a card only becomes available when both cards resting on it are gone, so the pyramid unpicks from the bottom up and every pair you take opens exactly two new options. Spend a 6 early on the nearest 7 and you may find the 7 you actually needed was propping up the whole left side. Good players stop looking at what pairs right now and start looking at which card is blocking the most, then work out how to reach it. Kings are the pressure valve: worth 13 on their own, they clear without a partner, so a King sitting in a bad spot is the one card you can always spend.

Three passes through the stock give you room to be patient, and an undo button means a bad guess isn't fatal. Clearing the whole pyramid earns a hundred-point bonus, and it happens rather less often than you'd expect.

游戏玩法

Tap two uncovered cards whose values add up to exactly 13 — Ace is 1, Jack 11, Queen 12 — and both are removed. Kings are worth 13 and clear on their own with a single tap. A pyramid card is only playable when both cards overlapping it have gone. Tap the stock to turn a card into the waste pile, which is always available to pair with, and you get three passes through the stock in total.

操作方式

Desktop: click a free card to select it, then click its partner to clear the pair; click the stock to draw, U to undo, Space to draw, M to mute. Touch: tap cards to pair them, tap the stock to draw.

技巧与窍门

Work out which card is blocking the most before you take an easy pair. Clearing the two cards above a key card is usually worth more than banking a quick 13 somewhere else.
Kings are your escape hatch — they need no partner, so a King buried in an awkward corner is always safe to spend the moment it opens up.
The waste pile card stays available, so a card you draw and can't use immediately isn't wasted; it may pair with something you free up two moves later.
Undo is there for a reason. If a pair opens nothing useful, take it back and look for one that unlocks a card deeper in the pyramid instead.
