Over Hill Climb
Hill Climb is a two-button driving game with a physics engine underneath it that takes both buttons very seriously. Throttle and brake are all you get, and the entire skill of the game lives in when you use them rather than how hard.
The car is a body on two wheels that sample the ground independently, so the terrain tilts it constantly — and the terrain is not just hills. Boulders sit in the racing line waiting to kick a wheel out from under you, fallen logs roll the car sideways if you take them at speed, and wooden ramps launch you off a sheer drop whether you were ready or not. That launch is where the game really lives: once you're airborne the wheels have nothing to push against, so the throttle rotates you backwards and the brake rotates you forwards, and a jump becomes a mid-air steering puzzle with your landing angle as the answer. Get it wrong by enough and the run ends upside down.
Fuel is the second clock. It drains whenever you're on the throttle and only red cans refill it, so the fastest route is rarely the one that keeps you moving. Obstacles start sparse and small, then grow taller and closer together the further out you get — a stretch that felt easy at five hundred metres will not feel easy at two thousand.
Hoe te spelen
Hold the throttle to drive right and the brake to slow down and reverse. On the ground, throttle lifts the car's nose and brake drops it — in the air, that becomes your only steering, so use it to line up a flat landing. Watch for boulders, logs and wooden ramps in your path: hitting one fast will launch or roll you. Fuel drains whenever you accelerate and is refilled by the red cans along the route. Collect coins for score. The run ends if you flip onto your roof or run dry and roll to a stop.

Desktop: → or D for throttle, ← or A for brake and reverse, Space or Enter to restart, M to mute. Touch: the right pedal is throttle and the left pedal is brake.
Tips & trucs
- Ease off before a boulder rather than after it. Hitting a rock at full speed kicks one wheel up and starts a rotation you usually can't recover from mid-air.
- Ramps are optional. The sheer drop on the far side is what ends most runs, so if your fuel is healthy it's often worth braking to a crawl and easing over rather than sending it.
- In the air the pedals rotate the car rather than move it. Tap the brake to bring the nose down before landing, and the throttle to lift it if you're diving nose-first.
- Never skip a fuel can, even an awkward one. Running dry ends the run just as surely as a crash, and the cans get further apart as the obstacles get thicker.
