Acerca de Outfit Match

A memory game wearing a dress-up game's clothes. Each round shows you a complete outfit — hair, top, bottom, shoes, each in one of twelve colours — with a timer bar draining across the top. Then it disappears and the wardrobe opens.

What makes it harder than it sounds is that you are holding eight facts, not four. Remembering that she wore a skirt is easy. Remembering that the skirt was teal and the shoes were the pale sand colour rather than the grey one, when both were on screen for two seconds, is a different thing entirely. Garments are worth 15 points each and colours 10, and almost everybody scores higher on the first than the second.

Five rounds, and the glimpse shrinks from just over four seconds to under two. At the end of each round the target and your attempt sit side by side so you can see exactly which detail slipped, which is far more satisfying than a number on its own.

Cómo jugar

Watch the look while the timer bar drains, then rebuild it once it disappears. Use the tabs to switch between hair, top, bottom and shoes, pick the garment, then pick its colour. Lock it in to see the two side by side and score out of 100.

Consejos y trucos

• Memorise colours first. The garment shapes are easier to recall afterwards, and colours are where most points are lost.
• Give yourself a one-word label per slot as you watch — "teal skirt, sand shoes" survives the gap better than a picture does.
• The two greys and the two pale neutrals are the usual traps. Check the swatch row carefully before committing.
• Later rounds are under two seconds, so scan top to bottom in a fixed order every time rather than jumping around.
