Über Knife Strike

Knife Strike is pure one-button tension. A chunky wooden log spins at the top of the screen, you hold a knife at the bottom, and a single tap sends it flying. Land it in clean wood and it sticks with a fat thunk. Land it on a knife that's already in there and everything ends with a clang. That's the whole game, and it's brutally hard to put down.

The log never behaves for long. Early levels drift at a steady pace, then the spin starts reversing without warning, surging in pulses, or freezing dead just as you commit to a throw. The classic trap is firing on rhythm right as the rotation flips and your own knife handle swings into the landing zone — one beat of patience there is worth more than fast fingers. Every fifth level a boss rolls in, a cheese wheel or tomato or watermelon that bursts into flying slices in glorious slow motion when the final blade lands.

Apples stuck to the rim are worth grabbing too: every ten collected unlocks a new blade, from kunai to cleaver to a glowing ember knife. Short runs, big flinches, one more go.

So wird gespielt

Tap, click, or press Space to throw a knife at the spinning log. Each level shows how many knives you must land, tracked by the pips on the left. Hitting a knife that's already stuck ends the run, while hitting an apple banks it toward your next blade unlock. Clear the target to split it apart and move on, with a boss target arriving every fifth level.

Steuerung

Desktop: click or press Space / Enter to throw, M to mute. Mobile: tap anywhere to throw. Arrow keys or the on-screen arrows swap knife skins on the start screen.

Tipps & Tricks

• Watch a full rotation before your first throw — reversal and stop-go patterns reveal themselves in one loop.
• Never throw on rhythm when the log is pulsing; wait for the slow phase and pick your gap by eye.
• Take apples whenever they cross the bottom, but only if the wood beside them is clear — a bonus is never worth the run.
• Late in a level the log is crowded, so line up the widest remaining gap and let it come to you instead of forcing a tight window.
